Thanksgiving Day Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 22 — Please join with our parish. There will be a blessing of the bread and wine that you will use at your family dinner. Place them at the altar when you come to Mass.

Parish Calendars and Diocesan Directories – Please take a calendar and diocesan directory after Mass. Any donations to help with the cost are appreciated.

Bankruptcy Settlement Update – November 21st is the deadline date for determining the individual loan amounts for parishes that will need to borrow money to pay off their portion of the $10,000,000. It appears that about $2,500,000 will be borrowed and our parish amount is near 10%, estimated at a minimum of @250,000. Once those figures have been agreed upon, them the monthly schedule of payments will be determined. We can estimate that within 90 days our monthly payments will be at least $5,000 per month. In January we will do a follow up campaign to ask the 700 plus families who have not responded to help with this settlement. As many of you consider year end donations for 2007 please help us with this immediate financial concern. Thanks again to all who have already contributed.

Building Debt Payments – The pink envelope, in your envelope packets, is to help with the unpaid debt of $930,000 on our Church/School/Office Building Complex. There are ongoing conversations about finishing the Parish Hall. Until we can pay off what we owe on the debt, we will not be able to move forward on any other projects. Our monthly debt payment is $4,500 per month. With the addition of a settlement loan payment, our debt payments in 2008 will be near $10,000 per month.  Please consider using the pink envelope and helping with debt payment in addition to your regular support.
